Almost the weekend!

Hey there...Well, lastnight I started getting those evening cravings...and I had a bowl of broken up chocolate sitting on the counter...mistake... I started picking at it, then I had it on the couch with me...then I realized what I was doing and put it away...!! So, I had 2 waffles instead... I am still ok for points... Just don't want to do that on a regular basis.

So, this morning I have my son (who is 20 months) and am watching a friends son (who is also 20 months). They play well together and have been buddies since they were 3 weeks old. Usually I have 3 toddlers running around but today I have 2 till the afternoon. So, my son actually let me sleep in till 7:30 this morning which was great! 

I am finding that if I have my morning tea before I eat... I not as hungry. So, this helps me keep my breakfast points to about 3 or 4. I like to save points for later in the day when I know I have a harder time.  Today's breakfast is Red River cereal and an apple. Feeling full already and not even finished!

Anyway, I am going to try to get on the treadmill again today while the kids sleep. I did my run yesterday for 25 minutes. Not the full 5km but at least I got on it! I have a week and a half till the 5km run and want to be a little more prepared for it. I have a hard time running in this warmer weather as I just started running last October through the winter. So my body needs to adjust. 

Well, enough for now. I need to go and get this day started!

  1. Way to get on the treadmill! Mmm chocolate pieces, they follow me around the house too ;). Good for you for realizing what they were doing.
